FAQs

  • I work with all age groups, from age 5 through adulthood.

I have a variety of experience working with kids as young as 5 through teen years, and find great joy in supporting young people as they navigate the complexities of emerging in the world as themselves.

My background also includes intensive work with adults of all ages, including supporting emerging adults (20-somethings!), parents and non-parents, as well as individuals through the lifespan, into retirement and on.

  • $165/50 minute session

While I do not bill insurance directly, I am happy to provide a superbill to you, which you may be able to use for reimbursement with your insurance company. It is a good idea to check on your out-of-network benefits to see what your insurance company may cover.

I do offer a small number of sliding scale slots for clients who may need it. Please reach out if you feel you may be in need of this.

  • I require notification to cancel or change a scheduled appointment at least 48 hours in advance of our appointment time to avoid a full session charge. This allows us to find a time to reschedule if needed, and for appointment times to become available to others.

  • All sessions are offered fully remote, via a secure, HIPPA-compliant platform, called Simple Practice. I do not currently offer in-person services.

  • So nice of you to ask!

The shortest answer is that from a young age, I became aware of the preciousness and vulnerability of people and felt a desire to be in a profession where I could be with connected with others in an honest, intentional, and healing capacity. That desire has been a through-line in my work since the beginning of my career in mental health, and I’ve never looked back! I love being with people and believe wholeheartedly in human goodness and capacity for change and growth.

I have also had some some personally transformative experiences with incredible counselors that have deepened my belief in the potential for healing within a therapeutic context.
